The farm Policleto was founded in 2003 following the purchase of the house and the land in 2000. The property consisted of the farmhouse and almost twenty-five acres of land between olive groves, woods and arable land. Later on we bought another 50 acres of forest, more olive trees and arable land at high altitude. The farmhouse hosts now the holiday villa and apartments on one side and our home on the other. With lots of passion and enthusiasm we managed to recover the olive grove from years of neglect. The olive grove is planted with Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo olive trees varieties, and we have now achieved an excellent  production from it. The estate includes a horse farm with riding horses. Horses have always been our passion and we breed Italian Sella, English Thoroughbred and Haflinger.  The arable land produces fodder for the horses, and the woods, mainly consisting of oak, chestnut, and hornbeam, provide firewood we sell, but mostly we keep them intact to preserve the landscape.
