Starting from Greve from Piazza Matteotti’s corner turn left at Greve’s church,  then right and take the Via Chiantigiana (SS 222) heading towards Panzano. Go straight until Lamole’s junction and until you reach Panzano. Continue downhill along the SS 222 and turn left after 3 km heading towards Lucarelli. We recommend Il Ristoro of Lucarelli for lunch or a break - it's located on the right hand side of the road. Continue towards Radda in Chianti. It is not essential to go through Radda, but it's worth a visit. Before reaching Radda, or coming back from the city center, take the road towards Castellina. You'll get to a crossroads with the SS 222, turn left along the SS 222 and after 1.5 km you will arrive in Castellina.
