The point of departure is from Piazza della Vittoria in Bagno a Ripoli (Coord. GPS N 43° 45' 05" E 11° 19'11"), in front of the Town Hall. From Via 1° Maggio arrive at Via Roma, from which you will be able to see the Oratorio di San Niccolò di Bari. Going back up we will take Via Enriquez Agnoletti, and then Via Torta towards Baroncelli. The 16th century façade of the Villa di Crocicchio, and the Chiesa di San Tommaso a Baroncelli further up on the right, are not to be missed. Follow Via di Baroncelli and take left on Via di Ritortoli, in the Valle del Rio Torto. At the first junction of Via delle Pietrosa head up towards Poggio Baronti. Keep left and take Via del Carota towards Ponte a Ema. The street, overlooking the Rio Rimezzano valley and passing the old Villa Le Tavernucole, leads to the Santa Caterina delle Ruote a Rimezzano Oratory. From here the walk continues to the left along a ravine, soon climbing up towards Villa Pedriali. At the end of the climb, we will head down towards Poggio ai Grilli (keeping the Villa's periphery walls to the left) until reaching the Podere Ellera. After the freeway underpass we will reach Via dell'Antella, which will take us to Piazza Ubaldino Peruzzi, the final destination.
