Autumn is the harvest season, of picking apples and chestnuts, and harvesting olives. A full season of great crops and much more. It will be wonderful spend time in the calm surroundings of Policleto agritourism where you can relax  in the very heart of the Florentine countryside. 

But if you want to nourish your artistic self why not take the opportunity and visit one of the exhibitions held in Florence these days? 

The first proposal is an exhibition on a genius of modern painting: Picasso. Until 25th January  2015 many of his works will be exhibited at the Palazzo Strozzi in an event that sees his art compared to one of other important 20th century Spanish artists. 

For those interested in sacred art, until 2nd November  it will be possible to visit the exhibition “Sacri Splendori” at Palazzo Pitti were the treasure of the Relics Chapel is shown. The treasure consisted of hundreds of precious sacred and secular artefacts  of exquisite appearance and inestimable value collected by the Medici family since the beginning of the 17th  century. In this exhibition will be shown some of the relics and works of art that just for the occasion will return to Palazzo Pitti.
